Day 1: From the Plains to the Piedmont 35 km…
Leave from the village of Caromb, and cycle through diverse landscapes with a mix of huerta and piedmont. Man has long farmed the fertile soil between Mont Ventoux and the Comtat Venaissin, growing exceptional products. As you ride, you will see vegetable farms, AOC Ventoux vineyards, olive groves and cherry orchards. From Caromb to Modène, from Bédoin to Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols, en passant par Crillon-Le-Brave, Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols and Mazan, discover charming villages full of character and take the time to visit them.

Leave Bédoin behind and ride through Mont Ventoux foothills, amidst vineyards, orchards, ochre cliffs and traditional sheds. See the villages of Flassan and Mormoiron ; they extend a warm welcome. Enjoy the fresh cool water in their fountains; see the lovely colourful façades and the shady lanes lined by plane trees.
