Couverture_Les_gorges_de_la_Nesque Les Gorges de la Nesque
Be careful at all times, the road is narrow but the view magnificent! This itnerary which follows the tourist road of the Gorges de la Nesque remains the most "sporting" road proposed : 22km of progressive climb in the heart of a remarkable landscape. The Gorges de la Nesque are a beautiful hydro-geological breakdown from which rocks seem to have been drawn up. This wild canyon is marked out by tunnels and by belvederes, namely the belvedere of Castelleras in front of the "Rocher de Cire".
Couverture_Entre_ventoux_et_dentelles Between the Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail
This is a more challenging ride, full of the sensation of flying over vineyards and Mediterranean forests. The ride goes through typically Provencal pine stands in the Dentelles de Montmirail and winds upward to charming villages which offer different, unique panoramas of the landscapes between Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles range.
Couverture_Les_villages_perches Perched Villages
This ride starts from the village of Saint Didier and takes you to the foothills of the Monts de Vaucluse, through magnificent panoramic views of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding cultivated fields – vineyards, the cherry orchards producing the Monts de Venasque cherries, almond trees, and the villages of La Roque-sur-Pernes, Le Beaucet, Venasque.  These villages were built up high on the rocks offering protection over time. This makes them unique places to visit with views which will take your breath away.
Couverture_Les_vignes_comtadines

Comtat's vineyards
The road through the Comtadin vineyards winds amidst famous AOC Côtes du Rhône vines and AOC Côtes du Ventoux vineyards. Vineyards are not the only point of interest in the countryside on this circuit. Here you will also see the by-pass channel for the Carpentras canal – further testimony to the very sacred nature of water in Provence. The water management structures built in the past gave rise to very prosperous fruit and vegetable farming and orchards, in particular strawberry and cherry, which have shaped the fate of this area.

Couverture_Au_fil_du_comtat Through the County

This is a landscape of hedges, irrigation canals, fields of vegetables, a reflection of the farming background of this plain. This itinerary lets you explore two cities that are very important to the Comtat Venaissin –Pernes-les-Fontaines and Carpentras.
