Gateway to Mont Ventoux

This circuit gets close to the Giant of Provence, as Mont Ventoux is known, and is accessible to all. This circuit shows all the facets of Provence. Cycle through the heart of the foothills of Mont Ventoux, amidst vineyards, orchards, ochre cliffs and traditional Provencal farms. As you cycle, you will go through characteristic Provencal villages such as Bedoin, Flassan and Mormoiron, where you can stop and drink in their fountains, take in the colourful façades and enjoy the shade of the plane trees.

Do not miss:
In Bedoin: the Chapelle de la Madelène, the ochre cliffs, the geological phenomenon of the Demoiselles Coiffées earth pillars, the narrow streets in Les Baux hamlet, the church in Sainte-Colombe
In Flassan: the village centre with its fountain, Romanesque Notre-Dame church.

Things to do:
Outdoor Provençal markets in Bédoin (every Monday morning) and Mormoiron (every Tuesday morning).
Outdoor activities and hikes are part of life here. There are many leisure activities to participate in.
Try swimming and family fun at the Salettes Lake in Mormoiron.
Stop in the wine cellars, the wine estates and the craftspersons who are part of the "Ventoux Cycling Reception" network.

On the way
Follow the cycling signs as you leave the parking lot at the exit from the village of Bédoin going in the direction of Mont Ventoux,
After Flassan, there are several directions possible. To get to Mormoiron, take a short uphill on the right. The road is shady and full of charm.
